“This season saw the return of lush makeup. Words like indulgent, expensive, embellished, opulent and luxurious sum up the richness of the runway perfectly. The trend inspired me to create the look below – it’s party chic and disco decadent!” LMM, 2011.
“The most common request I get from brides-to-be is “make me look natural, glowing and gorgeous”. To achieve this, I typically begin by perfecting the skin with a primer and a long-lasting, light-reflecting base. I have been using Lancôme’s Teint Miracle Foundation a lot recently, it is beautiful and, best of all, looks like real skin. I then pair softly-defined eyes with long, fluttery lashes, and apply a natural, but kissable-looking, color to the lip. To finish, I brush on some blush. I’m a big fan of Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks, it imparts just the right amount of color, and leaves the face looking fresh and perfectly flushed.
