Hi again, Lisa!

On shoots, models usually have their hair done first, then makeup. So, I always use a piece of tissue under the clip to stop the hair from kinking. If I ruin the hair, the hair stylist has to redo it. Eek! An angry hair stylist is never a pretty sight!

Hi Lisa! To be honest, you can pretty much wear any eyeshadow color you want. The key to making it work is how and where you apply it.

To create a natural look on someone with a skin tone similar to Eva Longoria, I would use orange-based browns, bronzes and warm golds. For the evening, I would take it up a notch and do a gray, black or chocolate brown smoky eye, or keep it simple with a slick of strong black eyeliner.

Light colors have their place. They make great eyeshadow bases and highlighters, and they work well when blended with darker shades. Light-colored eyeshadows with warm undertones tend to suit dark skins best. For instance, on Britney Spears I would use a cream or vanilla eyeshadow to highlight the inner corner of the eye. Whereas on Eva Longoria, I would choose a pale, warm-toned yellow which would look creamy on her complexion, or a soft orange which would appear peachy against her skin.

Hope this helps!

I am not a complete amateur when it comes to make up, I only recently started using regular make up. Can I ask why you use a paper tissue on the hair clip? You did this in all the videos, and I was just wondering what is its use.

I'm very fond of eyeshadows, however choosing the right colour has always been a problem for me. Can you tell me how to choose a colour? Should it depend on your outfit or your 'look'? Also, is it true that you should never pick an eyeshadow colour that's lighter than your skin colour? My skin tone is somewhat like Eva Longoria, maybe one shade lighter. What shades should I opt for ? Blues? Greens? Pinks? Reds? Earthy colours? Greys?
