What kind of lubricant does this product use? I like using a chapstick that has lavender essential oil in it because it helps heal chapped/dry lips well. How does this product fare with really dry lips?

This product has wild mango and luffa cylindrica in it to protect and moisturize the lips. For really dry lips, I would recommend one of the lip balms I wrote about in this post: Best Lip Balms.
